Star Ledger: Seven men, five women to hear James graft case

Jurors were selected during a four-day process that began with a pool of 247 people from across northern New Jersey. The task for defense and prosecuting attorneys included finding people who would be able to serve in a trial that could last up to three months and who had not already formed opinions about the high-profile case.

Of the 19 people selected, six are from Bergen County, four are from Essex County — including two from Newark — two each are from Union, Passaic, Middlesex and Sussex counties and one is from Morris County.
