Mayor Cory A. Booker will be there with members of the Newark Police Department, representatives of NewarkWORKS, Department of Neighborhood and Recreational Services, and other Mayor’s Office Staff.
The Mayor will be available between 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Parking will be available available across the street at Hawkins School and church lot.
Interesting, I live in Ironbound and did not see a single notice that this “Open Office” was to take place. Needless to say I am not the only one. What is Bookers definition of “Open Office”? If it was truly open he should have done a better job getting the word out.

George, city hall sends notice to the press, but how its advertised beyond that is up to the discretion of the media. We post notices here on TDN, and they’re likely in the Ledger as well.
I agree, though, that this invaluable face-time with the mayor should be more widely advertised.
