Cerf’s message reads like a lessons learned on the tumultuous past few years of Newark school district leadership.
Since being appointed superintendent in July, I’ve had hundreds of conversations with Newark families, educators and community leaders about how we can work together to improve Newark Public Schools.
While there is more to learn, I would like to share some early reflections, comment on the values that guide our work and lay out action steps we are taking to make progress towards those values.
